This was the first Manchester ‘Flashback Friday’ post.

The top photo was taken in August 1997 along Corporation Street looking towards Todd Street; Victoria Station, and the largely derelict Grade II listed City Buildings (anyone remember the Arena Cafe on the ground floor? I vaguely remember having breakfast there in 1995 having seen Oasis at the Nynex Arena the night before!)

Bottom photo is from the same spot in May 2023. So much change including the Urbis/ National Football Museum; Hotel Indigo Manchester; and, New Victoria.
