Along Deansgate

“Spinningfields – A New European Business Destination”

This view is along Deansgate looking towards one of the early key changes that came from the delivery of the Spinningfields masterplan by Allied London.

The top photo, taken in 2002, looks toward the building then known as Northcliffe House. A banner across the façade reads “Spinningfields – A New European Business Destination,” while banners for the 2002 Commonwealth Games are also visible on the right.

The building was demolished in the same year and replaced with the new 1 Spinningfields Square - designed by Sheppard Robson in 2006.
