From Trinity Way

“a key part of the city’s expansion”

This view is from Trinity Way (AO Arena car park on the left) looking west towards Dutton Street and the former Boddington’s Brewery site.

The top photo was taken in 2009 when the majority of the area was dominated by car parks and low rise workshop units. Prior to this the Brewery had closed in 2005 and subsequently been demolished in 2007 (the former Brewery chimney is visible in the picture on the left).

The bottom photo is from October 2024 and shows the incredible activity that is currently underway in this part of the city centre - led by Salboy’s Waterhouse Gardens, designed by Studio Power and being built by Domis Construction. Once complete the scheme will deliver 556 new homes and 31,000 sqft of commercial and retail space across five buildings.

Definitely a key part of the city’s expansion as more schemes come forward in due course as part of the Great Ducie Street Regeneration Framework.
