The view this time is looking north along Leaf Street in Hulme towards Manchester city centre.
The top photo is another Steve Welsh special, taken in September 2004. For context, the crane in the centre was part of the Lumiere/Medlock Place construction site on City Road East, while the crane on the right belonged to the Beetham Tower development.
Company Director, Euan ran down and managed to get the bottom photo early on the morning of 26 March before the Construct ‘Phoenix Cities’ event - had to seize the moment with the blue sky! ☀️
