The view from Hulme Park

This view is from Hulme Park, just off Birchvale Close and looking north towards the Mancunian Way and the city centre.

The top photo was very kindly provided by Chris Burnett of Chris Burnett Associates and is from January 2007, looking towards what was, at the time, the recently completed Beetham Tower.

The bottom photo is from January 2026 and shows the incredible scale of change that has taken place over the past decade. We also think we’ve matched it up quite well and good to see how much the trees have grown!
