Game, Set, Match! Padel Courts receive Planning Permission at Hale Country Club

Euan Kellie are pleased to continue to advise THG on their proposals at Hale Country Club, with the recent approval of a part-retrospective application for Padel Courts.

The provision of Padel courts at the Club aligns with the growing popularity of Padel as a social, dynamic and inclusive sport, and the approval will allow up to 5 no. courts, with associated canopies and lighting to be installed, which will allow all-year round use of the courts.

We have worked with Planning Officers and the appointed technical team to successfully progress the application through to a positive determination, addressing the relevant planning considerations – notably the Site’s location within the Green Belt, the loss of the existing Tennis Courts, and the relationship with surrounding residents.
