Planning permission and listed building consent approved – a perfect end to 2025

Euan Kellie Property Solutions ended 2025 on a high note, securing planning permission and listed building consent on New Year’s Eve for One XPS Fitness.

The application sought approval for the use of part of the lower ground floor of Sevendale House as a gym. This consent enables our client to open their second state-of-the-art city-centre facility; their first, located in the One Express building in Ancoats, is already operating at capacity with a waiting list.

Sevendale House is a Grade II listed building in the Northern Quarter in Manchester city centre. As the proposals involve only minor alterations to the historic fabric and preserve the building’s principal spaces without detracting from its heritage significance, the approval represents a positive step in bringing a vacant and underutilised part of the building back into active use within the city centre.
