South-East along Broadway (Salford)
“…an indication of the scale of change that has taken place over the past three decades or so as part of the regeneration of Salford Quays.”
This view is in Salford City Council’s administrative boundary looking south east along Broadway, towards MediaCityUK (Metroplex Business Park East is on the left hand side).
The top photo has - once again - been very kindly provided by Steve Welsh. It dates back to 1992 and shows a very different cityscape at the time (we think Quay West is visible in the background - located within Trafford Council’s boundary).
The bottom photo is from May 2026 and gives an indication of the scale of change that has taken place over the past three decades or so as part of the regeneration of Salford Quays.
