Looking South along Mosley Street
“a joy to get an old and new tram in the shot as well!”
The top photo is from a very gloomy December 2008, looking south along Mosley Street. On the left is The Bridgewater Hall, which was completed in 1996, and on the right is Manchester Central.
The bottom photo is from April 2026 and shows the unbelievable change that has taken place over the past decade or so.
In the background is of course New Jackson by RENAKER, with all buildings designed by SimpsonHaugh.
In the centre is Axis, designed by Jon Matthews Architects and delivered by Property Alliance, along with the Tower of Light designed by Tonkin Liu.
On the right is Viadux designed by SimpsonHaugh on behalf of Salboy.
Also a joy to get an old and new tram in the shot as well!
