Application submitted for apart-hotel on Back Turner Street, Manchester

Euan Kellie Property Solutions has submitted an application to Manchester City Council on behalf of Tibst Limited for a high quality apart-hotel development comprising 129 rooms, ground floor bar / restaurant space and public realm improvements to Back Turner Street.

Designed by 5plus Architects, the proposed building rises a maximum of 14 storeys fronting onto Shudehill, dropping to 4 storeys on the High Street frontage.

The apart-hotel is to be occupied by Zoku, an award-winning Amsterdam-based hotelier.  Having established the brand within Amsterdam, Zoku is now looking to expand to a number of other cities, including New York, Copenhagen and Manchester. This would be the first Zoku within the UK.

The application is currently being considered by Manchester City Council.
