Consent granted for apartments at 3-5 John Street in Manchester city centre

JR Properties, the sister company of Richer Sounds, has secured planning permission to convert part of the ground floor and the upper floors of 3-5 John Street in Manchester city centre to residential use, and to add an additional two-storey rooftop extension.

The proposals, designed by Cartwright & Gross architects, will deliver a total of 12 apartments, eleven of which will be two-bedroom along with one one-bedroom apartment.

Kelly Paddick of Euan Kellie Property Solutions said:

“This is an exciting, well designed scheme which will deliver high quality residential accommodation in the heart of Manchester city centre and which will complement the design and proportions of the existing building“.
