Housing scheme for 40 new homes submitted for derelict site in Winton

Yesterday, Euan Kellie Property Solutions submitted proposals for the construction of two four-storey buildings on Worsley Road in Winton, Eccles.  The plans submitted to Salford City Council will see the redevelopment of the site formerly occupied by St Matthews Church and Presbytery, which were demolished by former landowners in 2024.

The scheme, submitted on behalf of Lancet Homes, will provide 40 new homes, including 25 1-bed apartments and 15 2-bed dwellings along with associated car parking (including new vehicular access point), landscaping and other associated works. All of the apartments will be made available as social rented housing.
