Listed Building Consent Granted for The Hut Group at former Jamie’s Italian

EKPS have secured listed building consent on behalf of THG for the re-use of the former Jamie’s Italian at 100 King Street, Manchester.

The scheme, designed by Penson, will seek to reuse the building, in line with the Group’s innovative approach to effective and innovative engagement with consumers in both the online and offline environment. As such, the properties will form part of THG’s growing marketing infrastructure that delivers enhanced consumer experiences, influencer and brand-led events as well as content creation.

EKPS were responsible for providing planning strategy advice, the coordination and submission of the listed building consent application and leading on discussions with planning officers throughout the pre-application and determination process. The application was approved under delegated authority on the 25th September 2020.
