Manchester Gin proposals granted planning

Manchester Gin’s proposals to convert the six vacant Grade II* listed arches underneath Manchester Central have been granted planning permission and listed building consent by Manchester City Council.

The scheme has been designed by Manchester-based Up North Architects and seeks approval for a gin distillery with visitor experience including gin school, bar/ restaurant, and ancillary office and storage space, together with elevational alterations.

Manchester Gin hopes to be in the units and operating during 2019.
