Outline permission granted for up to 100 dwellings on former Rossendale United Football Club stadium

Rossendale Borough Council has granted outline planning permission for Culzean Developments’ proposals involving the land partly occupied by the derelict stadium previously used by Rossendale United Football Club.

The proposals sought approval from Rossendale Borough Council for up to 100 residential dwellings with access off Dark Lane.

As part of the proposed development a financial contribution will be made by the applicant which will contribute to the provision of a replacement playing pitch at Marl Pits in Rossendale.

The indicative site layout has been prepared by Halliday Meecham Architects.

Euan Kellie Property Solutions advised on planning throughout the project.
