Planning Permission secured for the redevelopment of brownfield site in East Manchester

Euan Kellie Property Solutions has secured full planning permission on behalf of Keepmoat Homes for the redevelopment of a brownfield site in Openshaw, East Manchester.

The proposals deliver 194 new homes, comprising 124 one- and two-bedroom apartments across four four-storey blocks overlooking the Ashton Canal, alongside 70 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses arranged in a mix of two- and three-storey forms.  The scheme includes 62 new affordable homes (32%), to be managed by Jigsaw Homes.

The scheme represents a significant regeneration opportunity, transforming an underutilised site into a vibrant residential community, supporting Manchester’s strategy housing objectives.
