Euan Kellie Property Solutions submitted a planning application on behalf of Kellen Homes and Jigsaw Homes North for the redevelopment of the former Buzz Bingo site on Hyde Road, East Manchester.

The scheme will transform the long-vacant brownfield site into a new residential neighbourhood comprising 152 affordable homes, including three contemporary apartment buildings fronting Hyde Road alongside two and three-storey family homes.

The development will also deliver extensive landscaping, new public realm, a pocket park, sustainable drainage, improved pedestrian connections and cycle infrastructure, creating a safe, accessible and sustainable neighbourhood.

The redevelopment will make a significant contribution to Manchester’s affordable housing needs while bringing wider economic and social benefits, including construction employment, increased local spending and the regeneration of a prominent underutilised site. The proposals represent a major investment in East Manchester and will create a vibrant new community supporting the area’s wider growth and regeneration.
