Unanimous approval secured for 364 bed Purpose Built Student Accommodation

Euan Kellie have secured unanimous approval from Salford City Council Planning Committee Members for X1 Developments proposed 364 bed Purpose Built Student Accommodation scheme on Lissadel Street.

Designed by Tim Groom Architects the scheme design allows for generous shared internal and external amenity space for students, including an external courtyard and a roof terrace, as well as access to a landscaped area to the rear of the building.

The scheme also includes highway improvement works with a view to enhancing the pedestrian and cyclist environment along Lissadel Street and will act as catalyst for the transformational regeneration of the wider area by linking in with the hugely exciting ‘Salford Rise’ which is currently under construction, and part of the wider Crescent Innovation North.
