Application submitted to Birmingham City Council for redevelopment on Temple Street
EKPS are pleased to have submitted an application for full planning permission to Birmingham City Council on behalf of EPIC (GP Temple Row) Ltd.
The proposal, designed by OMI Architects, seeks full planning permission for the retention of the existing 41-42 Temple Street façade, demolition of the remaining elements of the property and the construction of a new 6 storey building which will include the provision of Office and Commercial Space.
By retaining the building’s façade, which dates from the early to mid-19th century, the proposed development will be key in preserving significant architectural elements within the conservation area, whilst at the same time transform a vacant and poor-quality building into a high-quality mixed-use scheme.
EKPS were responsible for co-ordinating the application liaising closely with Birmingham City Council throughout the process.
