Planning Permission granted for new SEN School in St Helens

EKPS have secured consent on behalf of Bright Futures Care Limited for a new Special Education Needs School in Sutton Manor, St Helen’s.

BFC is an established ‘Specialist Care and Education Provider; supporting young people andadults with complex needs to access meaningful education and community living experiences. The new purpose built special school designed by DV Architects, will accommodate children between the ages of 5-25, and will offer a quality educational experience for up to 30 students who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder and associated sensory, communication and language needs.

EKPS were responsible for providing planning strategy advice, the coordination and submission of the planning application and leading on discussions with planning officers throughout the pre-application and determination process.

The application was approved under delegated powers by St Helen’s Council Officers on 5th October 2020.
