Planning Permission Secured for New Live Music Venue at New Century Hall

Euan Kellie Property Solutions has secured planning permission and Listed Building Consent for LOCKER, a new live music and events venue at New Century Hall in Manchester’s NOMA district.

Working alongside Project 3 Architects, Levrant and Edwards, EKPS secured permission for the change of use of the ground floor of the Grade II listed building, alongside consent for the associated internal alterations.

The proposals will transform part of the existing food hall into a new live music and events space, complemented by a food and drink offering. LOCKER will provide a platform for emerging talent, as well as a venue for private parties, community events and college students to develop their skills.

The scheme will help secure the long-term viability of New Century Hall, supporting the continued use of this historic building as an important cultural and entertainment destination within Manchester.
