Salboy’s Queen Street proposals granted planning permission

EKPS is delighted to have secured planning permission for Salboy’s latest proposals involving land at 55 Queen Street in Salford, subject to completion of a Section 106 legal agreement.

The scheme, designed by Jon Matthews Architects, includes 115 apartments – a mix of 1, 2 and 3 beds – in a ground plus 17 storey building.

As part of the proposals, Salboy will also be making a financial contribution towards public realm improvements in Greengate, along with Affordable Housing provision.

EKPS advised on planning strategy throughout and the application was presented to Planning Committee eight weeks after submission.
