Our co-founder Euan is a doer. He’s happiest when he’s meeting people, solving problems and helping to unlock sites and situations.

With over 25 years’ experience under his belt, he is particularly skilled in mapping out big picture strategies. Early on in his career he was part of the team working on Manchester’s Beetham Tower, which taught him key skills in being responsive, managing stress and getting things done under pressure.

He advises, among others, Salboy International, THG and Step Places, and leads on all planning matters for many of our major redevelopment projects across Greater Manchester and beyond.

His early experience in the public sector taught him the importance of listening and he’s motivated by making progress and leaving a positive legacy.

Aside from advising clients on how to unlock planning, Euan is a published author. His book, Rebuilding Manchester, investigates the city’s recovery following the 1996 IRA bombing. Over his career, he has given lectures at various universities both on planning and on Manchester’s rebuilding and contributes regularly to industry discussions.

Euan is dual-qualified. As a chartered planner and planning and development surveyor, he’s also a fellow of both professional bodies too (the RTPI and RICS).
